Reference

This is a letter of reference written by Steve Morgan, Oxygen's Vice President of Interactive Technology.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am most pleased to write a job reference for Shifra Raffel.

I have known Shifra Raffel since I first moved to New York City for Oxygen in January 2001. Shortly after moving to New York, I became aware of Shifra who was working as a developer in our San Francisco office on the largest of our website offerings, Thriveonline.com. Shifra made the move from HTML coder to full-time developer as of February 2001.

In April of 2001, we had to move from our web hosting facility in Boston to New York City. Shifra was instrumental in executing this move of our largest web property and coordinating many of the technical changes that had to be accommodated on quick notice and turnaround. Simultaneously, she also continued to develop many new popular web offerings on our largest site including Fitness Planner and Health News. I was particular impressed at her ability to juggle so many tasks at the same time with limited management and resources.

Unfortunately, in October of 2001 due to a company restructure we had to consolidate technologies and staff thus ending the technology department in San Francisco. Fortunately for Oxygen, Shifra did agree to remain on for three months to help move some of the content and tools to New York City. Even though she is just learning Java and other object-oriented technologies, she was invaluable in understanding the needs of the team in New York in moving thses applications to ATG Dynamo. I believe that Shifra has both a great interest and potential to develop Java applications.

I am sure that whoever hires her will find her to be a good worker and developer as well as a pleasant person. She is truly a gem.

Steve Morgan VP of Interactive Technology
